Akido Labs just dropped a $60M Series B, and the echo’s louder than a subwoofer on Abbot Kinney.

Founded in 2015 by Prashant Samant, Jared Goodner, Sanjit Mahanti, and Hugh Gordon out of USC’s Digital Health Lab, Akido’s been cooking data into healthcare longer than most AI startups have known what a SOAP note is. This isn’t another chatbot parade. This is real medicine, real patients, real outcomes, with a half-million lives already in their system and a Net Promoter Score at 96. That’s not a typo. That’s impact.

What makes them different? Simple. They own the pipes and the water.
